The 56F8346, a member of the 56800E core-based family of Digital Signal Controllers, combines the processing power of a DSP and the functionality of a microcontoller. Moving to a 144-pin LQFP package, this device features 156 KB of on-chip Flash memory, pulse width modulation (PWM) outputs, analog-to-digital converter (ADC) inputs and timer channels, along with the capability of interfacing with other devices in your system.
