CGA-1518Z Push-Pull 50 MHz to 1000 MHz High Linearity InGaP HBT Amplifier

The CGA-1518Z is an InGaP HBT (HBT8D) push-pull amplifier in an SOIC-8 package. It is designed for ultra-linear (low multi-carrier distortion) amplification up to +34 dBmV per RF output channel. This makes it ideal for use in multiple dwelling unit (MDU) amplifiers, low cost Line Extenders (LEs), cable Head End (HE) distribution amplifiers, residential gateways (RGs), and xPON triplexer modules.

The CGA-1518Z outperforms competitor +12VDC CATV line amplifiers with lower multi-carrier distortion and positive slope gain while operating at +5VDC and dissipating ≈ 0.75 Watt DC. Built with RFMD's proprietary InGaP HBT process technology known as HBT8D, the CGA-1518Z means best-in-class Composite Second Order (CSO) performance.
