Sensor IC designed to drive haptic feedback and capacitive sensing. It provides all of the functions needed to create a fully functional touch interface for all mechanical or capacitive button replacements. The device comes complete with 14 independent haptic effects licensed from Immersion Corporation.
This device in conjunction with power amplifier and ERM are all the necessary components to drive the haptic effects.
Based on Atmel QTouch® technology, this IC integrates the required signal processing and input/output functions into 32-pin 5x5mm QFN and 32-pin 7x7mm TQFP RoHS compliant packages. It includes a guard channel to prevent false detections by other keys.
