ACPM-7800 Quad-band GSM/EDGE and Multi-mode Power Amplifier
The Avago ACPM-7800 is a multi-band, multi-mode power amplifier (PA) module that supports GMSK and 8-PSK modulation schemes and UMTS/LTE bands 1, 2/25, 3, 4, 34/39, 5/26, 8, 20, 28A (12/17) and 28B. The ACPM-7800 supports both the envelope tracking (ET) and average power tracking (APT) operations. Input and output terminals are internally matched to 50 ohms.
There are two amplifier chains, one is to support GSM850/900 bands, and the other is to support DCS1800/PCS1900 bands.
The module is manufactured on an advanced InGaP HBT technology, which offers state-of-the-art reliability, temperature stability, and ruggedness and housed in a cost-effective, extremely small and thin 5mm × 7mm package.
