TEA1721ADB1102:TEA1721 Cubic Charger 5W demo board
The TEA1721 demo board is a small and low cost solution for a 5W mobile phone charger or any low power adapter solution.
The application is USB1.1 battery charging compliant and operates in constant voltage (CV) or constant current (CC) mode for a proper and controlled charge behaviour of the battery.
The switch-mode converter operates in flyback mode at a maximum frequency of around 51 kHz. Overcurrent and short-circuit protection are built in. The power consumption is below 10 mW under no-load conditions.
