The M16C/6N4 and M16C/6N5 groups contain a M16C/60 CPU core. These groupsare ideally suited for high-speed (maximum 1 Mbps), large-traffic communicationnetwork applications because they have abundant peripheral functions andlarge-capacity buffers. The M16C/6N4 in particular contains 2-channel CANs andis therefore capable of delivering data between networks operating at differentspeeds.
